As the National Diploma Exams approach on September 1st 2025, Buea Institute of Technology (BIT) took its candidates through an intense pre-defense session on August 14th, at the BH1 Hall of the institution.
Under the watchful eyes of the Director Mr. Benyella Njeko, ND Examiner Mr. Wilson Ade Fru, Dean of Studies Mr. Tata Theirry, and other distinguished staff members, students hailing from the Office Automation & Secretarial Studies, Webmaster, and Graphic Design departments passionately defended their internship reports from two months of professional training in various organizations.
These reports covered two months of immersive professional training across diverse organizations, culminating in a showcase of their honed skills and acquired knowledge.
The primary objective of this exercise was to refine their expertise, instill confidence, and meticulously polish their reports in readiness for the impending assessments. Our National Diploma (ND) programmes are 10-month training programmes designed by the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training. Students undertaking any of these programmes complete 9 months of coursework and a 2-month internship placement.
BIT Certificate Programmes are 4-month short courses designed by Buea Institute of Technology to provide training to students, workers or professionals who cannot afford the luxury of a 1, 2 or 3-year training programme.
