Programme Summary

Master the languages and tools for web authoring; create fully functional websites and web applications with our certificate in web design program.

The main objective of this course is to take the student from an absolute beginner to a Web Design expert. This course will provide the students with a basic understanding of the Internet and how it works, as well as give them a firm mastery of the most recent web development languages, graphic design tools, and content management systems. 

By the end of this programme, the student should have mastered the language and tools for web authoring, be able to create fully functional websites, and understand how to use basic scripts and hosting platforms.

The Web Design course consists of six (6) courses (modules), which include the following:

Entry Requirement

  • Form 4 or GCE O-Level.
  • Good Knowledge of Windows or Linux
  • Good Laptop at least an Intel core i3, i5 or i7

Programme Duration

  • Four (4) months including the submission of a supervised project.

  • Certificate in Web Design issued by Buea Institute of Technology.
