HND Admission Requirements and Documents

To apply for BIT’s HND programmes, you must meet the academic entry requirements: typically a Baccalauréat or GCE Advanced Level (A/L) certificate. In practice, MINESUP requires that the GCE A/L be obtained in one sitting with passes in at least two subjects (religious studies is not counted). Equivalent qualifications (e.g. Brevet de Technicien, U.S. Associate Degree, etc.) may also be accepted with official equivalence.

BIT’s HND application process also involves submitting a dossier with common documents. Prepare the following (and keep copies):

• Completed BIT HND Application Form (available from BIT admissions office or online).
• Certified copy of your Baccalaureate, GCE Advanced Level, Brevet de Technicien or equivalent diploma.
• Official transcripts or full secondary-school results.
• Certified copy of your Birth Certificate.
• Passport-size photos and a copy of national ID (if required).
• Proof of payment of BIT’s application and first-year tuition fees. For 2026, tuition is 350,000 FCFA per year (plus 10,000 FCFA registration fee).

Do not send irreplaceable originals. BIT, like all institutions, will verify documents and reserve the right to inspect originals if necessary.
